Overview of the 25 Translated Works

Trans-European Journeys is committed to celebrating the rich diversity of European literature. Covering a broad range of genres — including novels, poetry, theater plays, and children's literature — the project will feature the translation of 25 literary works, detailed below.
Jacob Sundberg from Nässjö Translated into Czech

Through the “Trans-European Journeys” initiative, literary works—including those of five authors from the Jönköping region—are being translated and shared across Europe and beyond. The first author to be translated is Jacob Sundberg, whose novel "Vi hör av oss" will soon reach Czech readers.
Project consortium kicks off three-year translation initiative

From February 4th to 6th, the project consortium gathered in Jönköping, Sweden, for an official kickoff. During the meeting, the consortium met with Swedish authors whose works will be translated and published, alongside participating Swedish publishers. The event also included discussions with regional politicians and managers from Region Jönköpings län, and Swedish Radio conducted an interview about the project.
Kick-off for Trans-European Journeys in Jönköping

Region Jönköpings län welcomes all consortium partners to Sweden for the first of many meetings to discuss Trans-European Journeys. The meeting will take place in Jönköping, from February 4 to 6 at Hotel Savoy.
