Project team meets in Athens for meetings and public presentations
From 14 to 17 September, the Trans-European Journeys team met in Athens. The team presented the project at the Athens Book Fair and held meetings with the Creative Europe Desk and PEN Greece.
As part of the visit, Swedish author Ida Theren presented her recently translated and published novel at the book fair and at the Swedish Institute.
The visit resulted in several new strategic contacts and valuable insights into the European literary sector. In the third and final year of the project, the focus will be on promoting the translators, authors and literary works, and on reaching new and broader audiences.
