This year's seminar focuses on storytelling. How do we, as an educational institution, influence which stories gets told?

On the evening of Tuesday the 31st, we are pleased to offer an exclusive preview of the Oscar-nominated film Little Amélie or The Character of Rain (co-directed by Liane-Cho Han) at the cinema in Nässjö. The film will have its official Swedish cinema release in autumn 2026.

The Animation department at Sörängens Folkhögskola wants to play an active role in the development of Swedish animation, primarily by offering a relevant and high-quality education but also by serving as a meeting place where we can discuss animated film.
